Camping fees vary based on the type of site you choose. Standard non-serviced RV/tent sites start at $30 per night, while our larger sites are available from $60 per night. Additional fees may apply for extra tent/rv units or amenities.


Burnstick Lake Campground offers a variety of outdoor activities, including swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and nature walks. You can also enjoy evenings by the campfire or take part in organized group activities during peak season.


Our campground is open seasonally, from late spring to early fall. Please check our website for specific opening and closing dates, as well as availability for your desired travel dates.


Yes, we recommend making a reservation in advance, especially during weekends and holidays. You can reserve your spot easily through our website or by calling our office.


Pets are welcome at Burnstick Lake Campground, but are not allowed in all areas, we do ask that they remain on a leash and that you clean up after them to help us maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests.


Our campground features amenities such as clean restrooms, picnic areas, fire pits, boat launch and easy access to atv trails.  We also offer a general store stocked with camping essentials, Firewood, Ice, snacks and anything you may have forgotten to bring with. 


Be sure to bring your camping gear, including a tent, sleeping bags, cooking supplies, food, and personal items. Don't forget layers of clothing for changing weather and plenty of supplies for outdoor activities!


Our campground staff is available on-site to assist you with any questions or concerns during your stay. You can also check our information board for tips and local recommendations.


At the lake, you can enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, kayaking, fishing, and paddleboarding. For those looking to relax, there are also plenty of scenic areas perfect for picnicking or simply unwinding by the water's edge. 


For a cancellation with a minimum 7 nights' notice, you will receive a refund of 100% minus the set reservation fee, credit card processing fee, and $10 cancellation fee. If you cancel with less than 7 days notice prior to your arrival date, no refund will be awarded.

RULES AND REGULATIONS


 

Check-In & Responsibility

All campers and their guests must check in at the office before going to their campsite.

● The registered camper is responsible for the behavior and safety of their group, visitors, and pets.

● Check-out time is 2:00 PM.

● Respect the privacy of other campsites, including seasonal sites.

● Follow all posted signs and campground instructions.


Camping Units & Rates

● Rates are charged per camping unit (RV, tent, or camper vehicle), including any tents set up on the same site as an RV.

● Tents used by children under 16 staying with family are exempt, based on approval.

● Screen or shade shelters may not be used as sleeping units.


Quiet Hours & Visitors

● Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

● All visitor vehicles must leave the campground by 11:00 PM. Parking is available near the entrance.


Generator Use

● Generators may be used between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM for a maximum of 2 hours at a time.

● Quiet inverter-type generators are preferred.

● Generators must remain on your registered campsite (not in the bush), and the camper must be present while in use.


Prohibited Activities

● Discharging firearms is strictly prohibited.

● Paintball guns, airsoft guns, bows, and fireworks are not allowed.

● Chainsaw use is not permitted.

● ATVs may only be driven directly to and from your campsite. No revving or maintenance is allowed on-site.


Campfires & Fire Safety

● Fires are allowed only in designated fire pits and must be attended at all times.

● Firewood must remain fully inside the pit.

● Do not cut trees, branches, or remove deadfall from surrounding areas.

● Burning garbage in fire pits is not allowed.

● Fires must be extinguished when leaving the Campsite


Garbage & Cleanliness

● Dispose of household garbage in designated bins only.

● Do not place propane bottles, BBQs, furniture, carpets, tables, or tarps in garbage

bins—these must be taken home.

● Keep your campsite clean to avoid attracting wildlife such as bears and skunks.

● DO NOT hammer nails into trees

● A $100 fine will be charged for excessive cleanup, including litter, cigarette butts (including in fire pits), food waste, pet waste, decorations, abandoned items, or dumping black/grey water on-site.


Pets

● Pets must be on a leash at all times, including on your campsite.

● Pets may not be left unattended outside.

● Pets are not allowed in the playground, swimming area, or beach.

● Always clean up after your pet.


Children & Conduct

● Children must be supervised by an adult at all times throughout the campground and Day Use Area.


Cannabis & Alcohol

● Cannabis use is permitted only within your personal campsite.

● Do not consume cannabis within 10 metres of playgrounds or areas where children are present.

● Alcohol consumption is restricted to registered campsites.

● Alcohol is prohibited in all public areas, including roads, trails, playgrounds, beach areas, day-use areas, docks, parking lots, and the boat launch, in accordance with provincial law.
